Guy Sela has spent over 25 years working in plant nutrition, water management, fertilization, irrigation, and practical agronomy. He has consulted with farmers, agronomists, companies, and governments across more than 20 countries – from Israel and the Mediterranean to Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
He founded SMART! Fertilizer Management software, one of the most widely used fertilization decision tools globally, and is the founder of Cropaia. His teaching combines the technical principles behind fertilization and irrigation with the calculations and practical reasoning required to make decisions in real field conditions.

This is an intermediate course. You should have some background in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field. It’s not designed for complete beginners, but you don’t need an advanced degree to follow along.
The course teaches the principles, calculations, and decision framework behind fertilization and irrigation rather than fixed recommendations for one crop. The methods can therefore be applied across different crops, soils, climates, and production systems.
